September 10, 1865 ~ Sunday
10. We drove to Cove Creek & Nooned. I Stodard bought ought
the place for a herd ground. At the top of the divide we were
met by Bishop Murdock & an Escort. we then drove to Bever
& spent the night with Brother Cartwright 50 [miles].
