Dear Brethren find enclosed a
copy of an article of agreement which will
explain itself
The situation is this we cannot
help ourselves in regard to other parties
enlargeing our Canal and takeing water
through it as the ^Territorial^ Statutes give them
the privlage. The parties coming in
purpose giving us free Water for five
years par the privilage
The point in question is what con
dition will we find ourselves in, at the
end of the five years. After they have
had undisputed controll of the uper
six miles of our Canal and dam
as to weather our further rights as
set forth in said agreement could
be leagly ignored we have a meeting
apointed to Get on this agreement on Dec 14th
