the Prophet Joseph Smith. We gave 106 Endowments to day
for the dead we ordained 43 Elders. W Woodruff sealed 11 couple
D H Cannon 19, and Adopted 8 children and gave second
Anointing to 4 persons

June 28, 1877 ~ Thursday

W Woodruff sealed 3 couple D H Cannon 31, Adopted 1 person

29 we gave Endowments to 121, and ordained 46 Elders

account of the death of Brigham. I spent the day writing

July 1, 1877 ~ Sunday

July 1. Sunday I attended two Meetings in the Tabernacle
D H Cannon Prayed J McAllister spoke 35 M[inutes].

Afternoon Br Fossall Prayed. Sacrament Administered Br Henry
Eyring spoke 30, After which the letter written by Bulah
A Beatie & David Woodruff concerning the Death of Brigham
was read before the Assembly after which W. Woodruff
spoke 40 Minuts. J McAllistster spoke 12 Minuts

2nd I spent the day reading and writing I attended 2 Meetings in the evening

July 4, 1877 This is the anaversary of the 101 independence
of the United States. We had a celebration in the
Tabernacle but a far greater one in the Temple of the Lord
we gave Endowments to 150 persons 100 of them went for
