Ebenezer Waterman Carver

Ebenezer Waterman Carver (1804-1896) was born 1 Dec. 1804 in Vinalhaven, Hancock Co., Maine. He was the son of Ebenezer Carver and Abigail Waterman. He married Mary Cooper Stimson on 4 Dec. 1828 in Vinalhaven; widowed 19 Jan. 1866. He married Mary Statira H. Stimson Cooper on 13 Dec. 1866 in Scott Co., Iowa. He hosted and met with Wilford Woodruff often in 1837 and 1838, and he traveled with Wilford Woodruff and other Saints from Maine to Illinois in 1838. He died 8 Jan. 1896 in Jackson Co., Oregon.
