George Washington

George Washington (1732-1799) was born 22 Feb. 1732 in Westmoreland Co., Virginia, British Colonial America. He was the son of Augustine Washington and Mary Ball. He married Martha Dandridge on 6 Jan. 1759 in New Kent Co., Virginia, British Colonial America. He died 14 Dec. 1799 at Mount Vernon, Fairfax Co., Virginia. He was one of the eminent men for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
