Jacob Carlton
Jacob Carlton (abt. 1794-1868) was born about 1794 in Frankfort, Hancock Co., Maine. He married Elizabeth Dow on 3 Sep. 1816 in Deer Isle, Hancock Co., Maine. He sailed Wilford Woodruff to Isle au Haut, Hancock Co., Maine, on 6 Mar. 1838 and hosted Wilford for two nights. He died 25 Apr. 1868 in Winterport, Waldo Co., Maine.
