John Spiers
John Spiers (1822–1895) was born 19 Feb. 1822 in Redmarley D'Abitot, Worcestershire, England. He was the son of Samuel Spiers and Elizabeth Keall. He married Mary Ann Marlow on 4 Jul. 1843; widowed 12 Sep. 1845. He married Mary Anne Addison Winfield on 13 Nov. 1849 in Oulton, Suffolk, England; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized by Wilford Woodruff on 6 Apr. 1840 in Eldersfield, Worcestershire, England and was included in Wilford's record of individuals baptized in England in 1840; he hosted Wilford in 1881 in Plain City, Weber Co., Utah Territory. He died 12 Nov. 1895 in Plain City.
