John Whittaker Taylor
John Whittaker Taylor (1858-1916) was born 15 May 1858 in Provo, Utah Co., Utah Territory. He was the son of John Taylor and Sophia Whitaker. He married May L. Rich about 1882; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized in 1867. He served with Wilford Woodruff in the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles beginning on 9 Apr. 1884, and received a blessing from him in 1895 when Wilford Woodruff was President of the Church. He died 10 Oct. 1916 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah.
