Joseph Angell Young

Joseph Angell Young (1834-1875) was born 14 Oct. 1834 in Kirland, Geauga Co., Ohio. He was the son of Brigham Young and Mary Ann Angell. He married Mary Ann Ayers on 9 Sep. 1852; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized 14 Oct. 1842. He served alongside Wilford Woodruff in church leadership and civil positions from about 1861 to 1875. He died 5 Aug. 1875 in Manti, Sanpete Co., Utah Territory.
