Lucinda (Lucindy) Hughes (Hewes) Curry Jaques Dow (1759-1843) was born 20 May 1759 in Ipswich, Essex Co., Massachusetts, British Colonial America. She was the daughter of Elihu Hewes and Elizabeth Cogswell. She married John Curry on 11 Dec. 1779 in Newburyport, Essex Co., Massachusetts, and they had one child. She married Henry Jaques about 1786, and they had two children; widowed before 13 Jun. 1792. She married Richard Dow. She was baptized 2 Sep. 1832 in Rowley, Essex Co., Massachusetts. She received a blessing from Wilford Woodruff on 7 Oct. 1838 in Georgetown, Essex Co., Massachusetts. She died 21 Nov. 1843 and was buried in Byfield, Essex Co., Massachusetts.
