Lucy Mack Smith

Lucy Mack Smith (1775–1856) was born 8 Jul. 1775 in Gilsum, Cheshire Co., New Hampshire, British Colonial America. She was the daughter of Solomon Mack Sr. and Lydia Gates. She was baptized 6 Apr. 1830. She married Joseph Smith Sr. on 24 Jan. 1796. She was the mother of the prophet Joseph Smith Jr., which brought her into regular contact with Wilford Woodruff. She died 14 May 1856 in Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois.
