Marriner Wood Merrill
Marriner Wood Merrill (1832-1906) was born 25 Sep. 1832 in Sackville, Westmoreland Co., New Brunswick, Canada. He was the son of Nathan Merrill and Sarah Ann Reynolds. He married Sarah A. Atkinson in Nov. 1853; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized 3 Apr. 1852. He was ordained an Apostle by Wilford Woodruff on 7 Oct. 1889, and he frequently corresponded with and met with Wilford from 1871 to 1897. He died 6 Feb. 1906 in Richmond, Cache Co., Utah.
