Samuel Thomas Whitaker
Samuel Thomas Whitaker (1859-1920) was born 20 Dec. 1859 in Centerville, Davis Co., Utah Territory. He was the son of Thomas William Whitaker and Elizabeth Mills. He married Elizabeth Jane Thomas on 15 Dec. 1881 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory; widowed 5 Dec. 1897. He married Margaret Ann Thomas on 15 Nov. 1899 in Salt Lake City. He was baptized 21 Jun. 1868. He responded to a mission call in 1887 when Wilford Woodruff presided over the Church as President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. He died 15 Aug. 1920 in Ogden, Weber Co., Utah.
