Sarah (Sally) Preece Taysom (1780-1859) was christened 19 Jul. 1780 in Munsley, Herefordshire, England. She was the daughter of Thomas Preece and Ann. She married John Taysom on 17 Nov. 1817 in Lugwardine, Herefordshire, England, and they had three children; widowed before 6 Sep. 1850. She was baptized on 16 Jun. 1840 in Lugwardine and was included in Wilford Woodruff’s record of individuals baptized in England in 1840. She died 1 Jan. 1859 in Great Salt Lake City, Great Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory.
