October 21, 1881 ~ Friday

21 A hand pointing to the right I wrote ^3^ Letters to George L Farrell asked him to
buy a harness for Newton. I wrote one letter to Francis Sharp
containing an order of $50 on tithing Book account &
requested him to help get the Harnes, & one letter to Sarah had
an interview with Br Taylor

Letter from John Daniel Thompson McAllister, 21 October 1881
To President Wilford Woodruff, Salt Lake City. Dear Brother, As we have not received any word relative to some of the items broached while I was in the city I have thought it advisable to drop you a line to bring them before your mind. One was relative to an Order from the Trustee in Trust on the Washington Factory to liquidate our Temple and So U. Tithg of- fice a/c. The letter broaching this was left in the hands of Brother Nuttall. Another was permission from the Trus- tee in Trust to apply labor on the Water Knolls near the Spring recently purchased for the Temple. We were up in the Temple Tower yes- terday and find that the lower octagon framework which is supposed, in Bro Fol- som's plan for the improved tower, to be in already, does not exist at all. There are but the four corner timbers ion the lower floor of the square of the tower or in other words on a level with the roof. We
