Journal Entry

July 01, 1897 ~ Thursday

July 1st 1897. I spent a fairly good night. I assisted in the laying of the corner
stone
of the Brigham Young monument this afternoon & I placed the small box, containing
coins & other relics in the hole in the rock for that purpose. Elder Nuttall went to
Ephraim this afternoon. I attended my meeting at the Temple at 11 am.
